The house is two storied, four bed attached with all facilities. It is in a rectangular shaped 13 cent of land with low width. The main entrance is centrally located. The entry into a open foyer leading to the left side of the foyer is an octagon shaped living room. The dining room designed at the right side which connects a full fledged kitchen and two bed rooms.

The circular shaped staircase passes through the living room from the foyer. The living and dining rooms have high roofs. The speciality of the architectural design here is that has an inside balcony from which we can view the living +dining rooms. The balcony connects two bed rooms.

House of Mr. Madhavan Nair Situated at Kalamassery,EKM

The above photo is of a four bed room, two storied house of approx. 2500sq.ft. constructed in 10 cents of land .The speciality of the above is that it is built on a land which is sloped downwards (ie, 9ft. below road level).The ground floor is built in 3 levels so as to suit the land shape (ie, car porch level, living room level, and dining room level).The entry of the home is into the living room which is lying 4ft. above the car porch level. The living room is circular shaped and a guest room is attached to this level. The dining room lies 5ft. above the living room and has a kitchen and master bedroom at this level. A circular shaped stair case runs through the living room connecting all levels and 1st floor.(For this purpose of stair case, the height of the living room is made 27ft.).From dining room level and then to the next 2 bed rooms lying at 2ft. above the balcony level.

2. High ceiling of the living room makes the atmosphere inside cozy.
3. Usually in a 2 story building the distance to travel from the top floor to the living/dining area is minimum 10ft. but in this design the moving is made easier as the dining area acts a center floor reducing the distance from both floors to 5ft.

The above photo is of a 3 bedroom ,two storied house of approx. 2000 sq.ft. situated in 10 cents of land. The speciality of the above is that it is built on a land which is sloped upwards (ie, 5ft. from road level.) The main entrance of the house is into the foyer. The entry door to the living room is in the foyer providing the room with max privacy. The octagon shaped living room is provide with attached bathroom so that the room can be easily used as guest bedroom/office room as required .The dining room lies 3 ft. above the foyer and has a kitchen and master bedroom at this level. A stair case through the foyer connecting the dining room and first floor. The first floor of the house comprises of two bedroom and as inside balcony open to the dining room as the dining room ceiling is made high .

the house is two storied four bed with all facilities in 12 cents of land. The land is surrounded by two side road which allows to enter through both sides. It has a main entrance and a sub entrance .The elevation of the house can be viewed from three angles. the sub entrance leads to the consulting room and other passes through the car porch that enters in to a foyer which connects the dining and living room.

Four bed ,two storied house situated in 12 cents of land. the main door opens to a foyer which give an attractive look by the semi circular shaped staircase connects the first floor. as seen in the design the circular shaped living room from the foyer is a speciality of the building. the foyer leads to the dining room with a master bed room and kitchen .The semi circular varandha at ground floor and the same design at the first floor gives the main attraction of the front elevation .
